We’re Geoff & Cherrie Whittle, owners of TLC World. A significant proportion of our lives has been spent travelling and working to contribute towards animal and environmental conservation; including living and working in the forests of India for seven years with our family.
The signature to all we do is ‘You Travel; We Care’ in that we seek to tailor-make the finest of experiences with and for you. We endeavour at all times to use those places who act responsibly, whilst we also continue to expand our undertaking to support the valuable work of charities in the wildlife, environmental and child welfare arenas, via partnerships with them.
Travelling with TLC World means that you are also indirectly supporting the environments through which you travel. Our aim is to build long-term relationships, if not friendships, with our travellers and partners who come to trust our judgement, appreciate our input and benefit from our attention to detail. We design holidays to fit you – truly customised and tailor-made – rather than bend you to fit the holiday!
Our focus is on satisfying your thirst for travel with new experiences, events and locations that add a fascinating dimension to your travel and set it apart from the ordinary.
We’ve loved travelling the world and have been to and stayed in the majority of the places to which we arrange travel. We would love to use our specialist in-depth knowledge and experience to help you create a unique, highly personalised holiday. We continue to travel extensively to maintain and update our knowledge and always seek the unusual, the novel and the special experience that is rarely found by travelling in large groups.
Go fishing with the traditional boatmen of Madagascar; cook chapattis with tribal people in India, take a hike in the Himalayas – or simply relax in some of the most palatial or perfect lodges and palaces around the world – share your wishes with us.
We often share our experiences and discuss conservation issues as guest speakers at many a venue, including luxury cruise ships sailing most oceans. We also publish a popular travel guide blog ‘The Luxury Couple,’ offering inspiration and ideas to those in pursuit of something a little bit different.
