DAY 1: Rio de Janeiro arrival

Your bilingual guide will meet you for your private transfer to your hotel.

En route, your host will share curiosities, stories and some general insights about Rio de Janeiro.

DAY 2: Rio – Corcovado & Santa Teresa

Board the train, which takes you up the beautiful mountainside before arriving at the feet of Christ the Redeemer.

Enjoy this most famous panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro, before
driving to the tram station to embark on a tour through Santa Teresa – the traditional neighborhood located high up on the city’s hills, overlooking  Guanabara Bay and home to several Twentieth-century mansions, galleries, gourmet restaurants (where you’ll have lunch at Bar de Maneiro for their famous feijoada ) and wander the charming cobbled streets that are a haven for local artists and intellectuals.

DAY 3: Rio – Bike Tour – Beaches & Lagoon

Your guide will meet you in front of your hotel and you’ll cycle along the beaches of Copacabana, Arpoador, Ipanema, and Leblon.

Afterwards you’ll continue to the famous Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon before lunch at Assador Rio’s Restaurant and a late afternoon visit to Sugar Loaf to admire the sunset.

DAY 4:  Rio – Carnaval Experience & Tomorrow’s Museum

Discover the vibrant spirit of Rio de Janeiro on this unforgettable tour that combines the magic of Carnival with the city’s most iconic sights. Visit to Cidade do Samba, home to the legendary samba schools that bring Rio’s world-famous Carnival to life.

Continue with a panoramic tour through Downtown Rio, where historic architecture meets modern urban life.
Stop at the Museum of Tomorrow, one of Rio’s most stunning architectural icons and view interactive exhibits, bold design, and futuristic themes that explore sustainability and the future of our planet.

DAY 5: Rio de janeiro > Paraty

You’ll transfer to Paraty and investigate Portuguese colonial history, as well as the nearby beaches and forests.

Walk around this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site on a fascinating tour of the old town, exploring Portuguese colonisation of Brazil and how Paraty developed through sugar, gold and coffee.

Paraty is different from all the other colonial cities in Brazil, with its unique architecture – a great place for people looking for images of stunning colonial buildings in a timeless setting.

DAY 6: Paraty – Guided boat tour

Paraty Bay has 65 islands and many beaches of unmatched beauty, surrounded by exuberant vegetation making it a quiet and unbelievable place to visit and relax.

The waters are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Your tour is on a private speed boat with a captain and English-speaking guide, exploring some of these beautiful beaches and islands, such as ‘Comprida’ island, famous for being a natural aquarium where you can feed the fish.

You can arrange for lunch fruits, drinks, and rent stand-up paddle boards if you wish.

DAY 7: Paraty – Boat tour, Waterfalls and Cachaça Distillery

Venture into the beautiful National Forest of Serra da Bocaina. Your first stop will be at Pedra Branca waterfall, one of the prettiest waterfalls in the region and a great place to spot many species of birds and see the plants and trees typical of the Atlantic Forest. After this you’ll drive to the Tobogã waterfall. For those daring enough to try, it’s possible to slide down the 30m waterfal. Next you’ll visit a Cachaça Destillery to learn about the production of Brazil’s most famous spirit, before heading for lunch at a picturesque restaurant on the Perequê River.
Enjoy the natural pools, before heading back to Paraty.

DAY 8: Paraty > Foz Do Iguazu

Transfer from Paraty to São Paulo International airport with your Portuguese speaking driver.

After your flight transfer from the airport to your hotel on the Brazilian side of the Foz do Iguaçu.

DAY 9: Foz do Iguazu

Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge with its lovely view of the Iguassu Canyon heading towards the Iguaçu National Park in Argentina. A small train will take you on a tour through the park. Follow the walkways to the top of the waterfalls, providing a spectacular view of the ‘Cataratas’. Visit the suspended platform over the Devil’s Throat – the largest of these magnificent waterfalls.

Leave your hotel in a private vehicle to enjoy a most beautiful sunset at the border, absorbing the energy of Iguassu Falls – a rare opportunity to witness a true spectacle of nature’s colours – an unforgettable experience!

DAY 10: Foz do Iguazu > Cuiaba

Today you’ll transfer from your hotel on the Brazilian side of Foz do Iguaçu and then to the airport in an air-conditioned vehicle.

You’ll be met on arrival and transferred in your own private vehicle to your hotel in Cuiaba.

DAY 11: Pantanal – North

You’ll be met and transferred to the Pantanal lowlands. Here it’s possible to spot and enjoy the local flora & fauna, especially the Caiman and birdlife of the wetland areas.

Later this afternoon you’ll hike through the surrounding area to a 12m observation tower with a spectacular view of the sunset. After dinner tonight, step outside to observe thespectacle of the massive Southern Hemisphere sky, devoid of light pollution and immerse yourself in nature.

DAY 12: Pantanal – North

Today is a full day dedicated to observing the Pantanal’s flora & fauna, from Araras Eco Lodge private reserve. Your guide will lead you on a 2 to 3 hour horseback ride (if you wish) through the pastures, woods and wetlands, followed by lunch at the lodge.

This afternoon, you’ll go on a hike to a different area, allowing you to observe and enjoy the local environment. Look out for Hyacinth Macaws!

DAY 13: Pantanal – North – Jaguar Express

After breakfast, transfer towards Cuiabá River at the end of Transpantaneira and join one of our boats for a 6 hour safari, looking for the magnificent but elusive Jaguar. Explore Cuiabá river, Piquiri and Three brothers riverbanks, as well as the many bays and channels.

The jaguar is the 3rd largest feline in the world, with a unique bite that paralyses its prey instantly. Your lunch, however, will be a box with fruits and sandwiches, so that you don’t miss an unique opportunity to meet this magnificent predator.

Return to your safari vehicle and then to your lodge; arriving in time for dinner.

DAY 14: Pantanal North

After breakfast travel down private dirt roads to Sentinela Camp on the edge of the Rio Clarinho. Here you’ll embark on a fascinating canoe tour to spot aquatic wildlife, birdlife and flora, immersing yourself in the local environement.

You’ll enjoy a Brazilian churrasco style picnic lunch along the banks of the river.

Much later you’ll return to your lodge for dinner.

DAY 15: Pantanal North > Departure

After a sunrise hike, you’ll enjoy breakfast at your lodge before your photo safari transfer to Cuiabá. Afterwsrds you’ll be dropped off at the airport or your city hotel; before transfer to the airport for your return journey home.
