New Delhi > Kanha National Park > Bandhavgarh National Park > New Delhi
This ‘taster’ trip takes you to the two most important wildlife parks in India where you’re most likely to see tiger.
DAY 1: Delhi
You’ll be met by your own private a/c car and driver/guide for transfer to your hotel. You’re now free to explore the wonders of Delhi before getting a good night’s sleep.
DAY 2: Jabalpur > Kanha
Fly to Jabalpur and transfer to stunning Kanha. No wonder the park is said to have inspired Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’. Bengal tigers are not the only sight to be seen however; Peacocks, Gaur, Sloth bears and the endemic Barasingha deer.
DAY 3: Kanha National Park
Wake early for a morning jeep safari into this wonderful park, returning for breakfast and a relaxing break before your afternoon safari. Return for a freshen up, sundowner and hearty dinner. You’ll enjoy Full Board status whilst in Kanha.
DAY 4: Kanha National Park
Wake early once again for another morning jeep safari to search for those animals that might have eluded you yesterday. Return to your lodge for breakfast and a siesta before your afternoon safari. Chill at the bar on return prior to your jungle dinner.
DAY 5: Kanha > Bandhavgarh
Morning jeep safari in Kanha followed by afternoon jeep safari in Bandhavgarh National Park after transferring to this well-known jungle renowned for the highest density of tigers in the region. You’ll enjoy Full Board status again in Bandhavgarh.
DAY 6: Bandhavgarh
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris to enjoy the large array of wildlife, including sloth bears, deer, leopards and jackals. Birdwatchers will delight in the plethora of bird species inhabiting all terrains from rocky crags to the auburn forest floor and mottled forest canopy.
DAY 7: Bandhavgarh
There is no substitute for adequate time in the jungle in order to stand the best chance of seeing the wildlife you’ve travelled so far to see. Your morning and afternoon jeep safaris give you maximum time in the forest.
