Okavango Delta – Moremi Game Reserve – Chobe National Park – Victoria Falls

Just one of our many safari options in Africa, this tour opens up the wonders of the Okavango, which you’ll experience by Makoro (canoe), vehicle and aeroplane – as well as including the magnificent Victoria Falls.

This is just an idea –  there’s just so much to see and so many ways to fit your budget in Africa – its best to talk to us to tailor make your tour.

DAY 1: Maun > Khwai Concession (Okavango)

On arrival in Maun, you’ll be transferred by road to the Khwai Guest House near the friendly rural Khwai Village, on the doorstep of the Moremi Game Reserve. Catch your breath in preparation for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2: Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta World Heritage Site is the largest inland delta in the world. You’ll drive or take Mokoro traditional dugout canoe through this wetland paradise in search of lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird.

DAY 3: Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve, one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa, with varied terrain including savannah, winding waterways, and dense forest. An incredibly wide spectrum of rare wildlife to be seen on your day and night game drives today.

DAY 4: Bakwena Lodge, Chobe River Front

Transfer by air to Kasane where you’ll drive to Bakwena Lodge – an intimate, privately owned eco-lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is well known for its predators and is the home of most of Botswana’s estimated 200,000 elephants.

DAY 5: Chobe River Cruise

The chance of seeing wildlife on the islands and riverbanks is very high on your cruise, with Elephant, buffalo and giraffe as common sightings, as well as sable, leopard and antelope. The river is filled with big pods of hippos and perhaps the biggest crocodiles in Africa.

DAY 6: Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park is situated in the far northeast of Botswana, sanctuary to an astonishing array of African wildlife. In addition to your all-inclusive safari stay here why not take a bicycle ride and stand on the borders of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe simultaneously.

DAY 7: Batonka Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Transfer by road to Victoria Falls. Enjoy your guided tour of the falls and a Zambezi Sunset cruise. Why not include the ‘Flight of Angels’ – a scenic helicopter flip over the falls, giving you a mesmerising aerial view.

DAY 8: Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls is an adventure playground and the list of inspiring and adventurous optional activities on offer around the Falls seems endless – unless you prefer to just drink in the scenery or meet Livingstone!

DAY 9: Victoria Falls > Departure

As you drive past Victoria Falls and Zambezi National Parks en route to the airport keep your eyes skinned for Fish Eagles and other colourful birdlife as you bid a farewell to Africa.
